it all started with a mouse

“if you can dream it, you can do it. always remember that this whole thing was started with a dream and a mouse”

Quoted from my favorite figure, Walter Elias Disney. He has been the most influential figure in children’s books and cartoons since the 20th century. Walt began his career as an artist who sell his drawings to his neighbors. Having studied in commercial arts, he started to run his own small company. He had discouraging and difficult times at first, however he still believed and pursued his dream. It all started with a mouse, his remarkable creature, Mickey Mouse was the initial success of Disney Company. The efforts were paid off, his dream to make an amusement park came true, Disneyland officially opened in 1955. His creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for modern technology brought the company to a major success. Walt Disney Company became the pioneer of motion pictures and television. The company has developed itself as the leading entertainment production, and the amusement park has became a vacation destination.

The stories of Disney and his company lead us to put an emphasis in creativity. I personally believe that being creative encourage ourselves to do great things. When facing a problem, creative people tend to see it as an opportunity and will find the best solution from it. If you are a leader, try to approach and inspire others with your creative energy, it will also encourage themselves to do great things.

“he brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain that there will never be such a great man, as Walt Disney”

Walt Disney
